Humanitarian Work in Vietnam: We have been assisting several orphanages with food, clothing, toys and athletic supplies, medicinal supplies, educational materials, water purification systems, construction projects, and financial assistance for extra caregivers since 2000, and most especially during the closure. Our director makes a trip to Vietnam at least twice a year to bring needed supplies and provide support. In 2006, we will be providing direct relief in the form of at least 8 installations of water purification systems in 8 orphanages, retiling projects in at least one orphanage, as well as several basic relief projects focusing on food, vitamins, medical supplies, and clothing. Requirements: Couples and single women and men between ages 25
and 50 qualify for healthy infants. Both infant boys and girls are available
for adoption as well as older children. Traditionally boys are more numerous
than girls.While there is no specific limitation on the number of children
already in the family home, couples with 5 or more children in the family
home will be considered by the IAD and the orphanage on a case-by-case
basis. Parents over 50 may adopt, but the likelihood of a child 12 months
or older increases. There are many children in Vietnam institutionalized
with minor, correctable special needs. If you would be willing to adopt
a child

Cost: With the dissolution of the two-trip process, our estimated fees (for USCIS, homestudy, consulate authentication and translation fees, agency fees, all fees in Vietnam, and all travel costs) are near $20,000 for the complete adoption.
